What is A Heavenly Loan?
A Heavenly Loan Foundation A Heavenly Loan is a simple concept - the loaning of money without interest to those in need. While life is often burdensome, it is excessively so because of the nature of money in our lives. Money, and the creation thereof, is controlled by a very small and powerful group, the central bankers of the world. And the shameful secret is that bankers create money out of nothing and charge interest for its use or circulation. Consequently, people are beholden to pay exhorbitant rates, often referred to as usury. The payment of interest is a significant financial battle as people strive to survive or succeed. A Heavenly Loan Foundation is convicted by scripture that usury is wrong. Since a gold and silver standard is no longer backing curriencies, and paper money is a fiat currency, valued at what governments and world events dictate, man is unequally yoked to a sinister and troubling financial environment. A Heavenly Loan Foundation also recognizes that world currencies lose value with time, decreasing purchasing power. This inflation, a hidden tax upon people and markets, compounds the difficulties associated with life and the struggle to remain financially solvent. Given scriptural admonitions against usury, A Heavenly Loan Foundation is committed to providing interest free loans to those in need. By virtue of freeing families and individuals from the burden of paying interest, we are hopeful they may live in a manner never before imagined. Many will benefit from this no interest loan concept. Whether a family is seeking to buy a home, a father and husband desires to start a business in his spare time, a child is in need of funds to have an operation, or a charity seeks funds to further its efforts, A Heavenly Loan Foundation, by the grace of God, will make a difference. Please consider the admonition represented in Nehemiah 5. Consider the burden of interest payments. Consider how usury leads to the loss of hard assets. Consider the loss of opportunities if only from funds that not available because of interest payments. We appreciate your prayers. We appreciate your donations. We thank you for sharing this hopeful cause with others. Nehemiah Nehemiah Helps the Poor 4 Still others were saying, "We have had to borrow money to pay the king's tax on our fields and vineyards. 5 Although we are of the same flesh and blood as our countrymen and though our sons are as good as theirs, yet we have to subject our sons and daughters to slavery. Some of our daughters have already been enslaved, but we are powerless, because our fields and our vineyards belong to others." 6 When I heard their outcry and these charges, I was very angry. 7 I pondered them in my mind and then accused the nobles and officials. I told them, "You are exacting usury from your own countrymen!" So I called together a large meeting to deal with them 8 and said: "As far as possible, we have bought back our Jewish brothers who were sold to the Gentiles. Now you are selling your brothers, only for them to be sold back to us!" They kept quiet, because they could find nothing to say. 9 So I continued, "What you are doing is not right. Shouldn't you walk in the fear of our God to avoid the reproach of our Gentile enemies? 10 I and my brothers and my men are also lending the people money and grain. But let the exacting of usury stop! 11 Give back to them immediately their fields, vineyards, olive groves and houses, and also the usury you are charging them—the hundredth part of the money, grain, new wine and oil." 12 "We will give it back," they said. "And we will not demand anything more from them. We will do as you say." Then I summoned the priests and made the nobles and officials take an oath to do what they had promised. 13 I also shook out the folds of my robe and said, "In this way may God shake out of his house and possessions every man who does not keep this promise. So may such a man be shaken out and emptied!" At this the whole assembly said, "Amen," and praised the LORD. And the people did as they had promised. Ezekiel 18:8: 8 He does not lend at usury or take excessive interest. [a] He withholds his hand from doing wrong and judges fairly between man and man. A psalm of David. 1 LORD, who may dwell in your sanctuary? Who may live on your holy hill? 2 He whose walk is blameless and who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from his heart 3 and has no slander on his tongue, who does his neighbor no wrong and casts no slur on his fellowman, 4 who despises a vile man but honors those who fear the LORD, who keeps his oath even when it hurts, 5 who lends his money without usury and does not accept a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things will never be shaken.
